We are proud to announce that Albers Alligator has two new owners. Lennard Blijdorp and Michael van der Windt have taken over the shares of our 123 year old company from Ronald Edel. The duo has the ambition to expand our international activities and diversify the product range.
Lennard and Michael are enthusiastic about the acquisition: “From the first moment we felt a strong click with Ronald, Albers Alligator and the solutions the company offers. It fits perfectly with our ambitions. We see many opportunities to develop the company,” explains Lennard. Michael adds, “Our background, education and experience fit seamlessly with this versatile company.”
Ronald, the former owner of Albers Alligator, remains actively involved and will take a seat on the board of directors along with Michael and Lennard. His decision to transfer the company to the new owners was motivated by the potential he sees in the young entrepreneurs. Ronald: “My priority has always been the continuity of Albers Alligator and delivering quality. From the age of 50 I started to think about the future of the company. With Lennard and Michael we have the right people on board to further professionalize Albers Alligator and take the company to the next level.”
With the acquisition of Albers Alligator, Lennard and Michael are at the beginning of a new phase for the company. “We plan to expand with the current products abroad and use the existing knowledge and expertise within the organization to develop new products,” Michael explains. “We are happy to continue this family company with a rich history and excellent international reputation.”
