Water Production Water-link Antwerp Chooses Algae-Free Supply Channels with Cover System
For Antwerp’s Water-link (drinking water company), Albers Alligator has implemented an effective solution to further improve the quality of supplied water.
By completely covering the water supply channels, the water is protected against contamination and remains 100% algae-free. This prevents blockages and reduces maintenance on the water treatment system, resulting in significant cost savings.
After previously successfully covering 24 slow sand filters and 2 narrower supply channels, the final wide supply channel has now also been addressed. For this purpose, a 60-meter test installation was implemented. The initial results once again demonstrate that Albers Alligator’s cover system effectively contributes to sustainable, reliable drinking water production.
With this project, Albers Alligator proves once more that smart, flexible cover systems can play a valuable role within the industry and water sector.
