During this process, oxygen is introduced into the water to allow bacteria to function optimally and effectively purify wastewater.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Together with IWE, Albers Alligator developed an innovative solution after an intensive brainstorming session: a floating screen that divides the aeration tank into two compartments. This allows the different parts of the basin to be aerated in a targeted and separate manner (bubble regulation).<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">The result? Oxygen supply is more precisely adjusted to the bacteria&#8217;s needs, making the process more efficient. This saves energy \u2014 the blowers, which consume a lot of electricity, don&#8217;t have to work as hard \u2014 and reduces the water footprint.
