Albers Alligator has been working on the solution for raindelays at Wimbledon Court 1 for the past year. A fold-out roof was taken into use this summer during Wimbledon 2019. It consists of 11 trusses of 112 tons of steel each. The more than 7500 m² Tenara fabric that is stretched between the rafters is completely cut and welded in our factory in Wageningen. A project that we worked on for over 16 months with 10 people. We are proud of the result!
